Just a few comments on classes ~ We get asked all the time as to why we don’t have more classes.  Organizing, preparing etc for classes takes a lot of time and effort.  Our classes are held in the quilting room of Quilt Inn Rangeley.  We need 5-6 students to make it worthwhile ~ heat, electricity, cleaning, etc.  Many quilters want to wait until the “last minute” to sign up ~ that doesn’t work for us and it is not fair to the quilters that have signed up for US to cancel at the last minute.  Yes, if WE cancel, your payment is refunded but......more than likely the couple of quilters that have signed up have already purchased their class supplies and have completed their pre-class cutting requirements.

We require full class payment upon sign up.  It is non-refundable after the deadline for class sign up. For example:  We had five signed up for a class, really wanted six but decided to go ahead with the class with the five.  The day before the class we had one cancel which brought us down to four.  We would not have had the class with four.  Did she receive a refund?  No.  Why?  The heat was already turned on (the Inn is shut down when not in use), the project sample was made, hand outs were printed, lunch was included and ordered, snacks were made.......

While we love what we do, we are a business and this is our livelihood. Thank you for understanding.
SPRING QUILT CAMP
If you have been “on the fence” about signing up for our Spring Quilt Camp, now is the time to DO IT!!  This is our first camp at The Rangeley Inn and we need to show our support to Travis, the new owner.

Award winning quilters and Studio 180 Certified Instructors Michelle Hiatt of Sew on the Go By Michelle Renee Hiatt and Dan Perkins of Threads Galore Quilt Shop & Quilt Inn Rangeley Retreat Center will be your teachers for this 5 day, 4 night event.  Multiple projects are offered ~ you might choose to focus on one project or enjoy becoming familiar with the methods and techniques of several.  Your choice!
Threads Galore has been a Studio 180 fan since 2000, the year of our first Quilt Camp and the first year of 10 that Deb Tucker was our instructor.  Deb would teach two weekend camps and several mid-week classes.  Her pattern “Bread and Butter” was designed especially for one of those classes, the “Rangeley Stars” patterns were created while she was getting in some stitching time at our Quilt Inn Rangeley Retreat Center and her Rapid Fire Hunter Star tool was sketched out on a piece of scrap paper during one of her teaching visits.  Quilting the Studio 180 way is not new to us ~ we have been “Debheads” for many years!

Please join us for this amazing opportunity to learn to quilt the Studio 180 way!

Our Spring Quilt Camp Package includes all instruction, lodging, meals and snacks.
